Jim began his career in mechanical engineering at Ford Motor Comany in Dearborn, Michigan.  He worked there until he accepted a position as a product/sales engineer at an automotive plastics supplier calling on Ford and Chrsyler.  Next he moved to a position as general manager at a software consulting firm in Southfield, Michigan. 

Jim came to the Lord during this time out of a Roman Catholic background.  He joined Berkley (Michigan) Community Church and later led classes in adult Bible study, college and career, and evangelism training.  This experience led him to pursue seminary training at Grace.  Jim is a member of Community Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw, Indiana and runs a web ministry called Christians for Christ to reach Roman Catholics with the Gospel.   He is a member of the IFCA.
