Dr. Mark Soto, Director
Grace Theological Seminary is excited to announce significant changes to its online Master of Arts degree programs.
Beginning this fall, we are initiating a transition from our old 48-credit hour master's degree programs in Local Church Studies and Intercultural Studies to a 36-credit hour Master of Arts in Ministry Studies program. Students will be excited to learn that they can complete their degree in just two years. They will still receive the same biblically sound education yet graduate earlier.
While accreditation requirements do require we move this degree into our Grace College Graduate School, the training and education will still be designed to prepare students for every aspect of ministry in a local church setting.
These changes do affect the Sparks Endowment/GTS Scholarship eligibility of online students. Due to the 48-hour seminary degree scholarship requirement, MA in Ministry Studies students will not be eligible to receive the GTS Scholarship. However, students will save $1,700 with the reduction in credit hours from 48 to 36.
