Job Description:
1) Advances the mission of VBC
2) Holds in trust the vision of VBC
3) Preaches/Teaches the Bible in harmony with the essential and distinctive beliefs of VBC
4) Seeks to equip church members for ministry
5) Mentors and leads the church staff
6) Provides spiritual oversight to the membership in conjunction with the Elders
7) Serves as an ex-officio member of all boards and committees
8) Maintains ready accessibility to church members

Job Qualifications:

5) Has demonstrated an ability to equip members for ministry
6) Is enabled to preach/teach as part of his spiritual gift mix
7) Has earned an M.Div. or equivalent degree from a reputable Evangelical Christian
Institution of Learning and has at least 5 years of full-time ministry experience.
8) Meets the same biblical qualifications as Elders
