Due to the calling of God of our former lead pastor into missionary service, Berean Baptist Church in Portage, Michigan, is seeking a pastor to be the leader of our ministry team. Wildwood Chapel is currently seeking candidates for a full time pastor. Our church is small rural congregation just outside of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Upper Sandusky is an industrial and farming community with an approximate population of 7000, located in northwest central Ohio.

Wildwood is and independent, evangelical church with Baptistic teaching. Our church was established approximately 40 years ago. We support the teaching and preaching of the “whole council of the Word of God” and adhere to pre-millennial, pre-tribulation, dispensational doctrine. We are also dedicated to the support of foreign missions, which account for approximately 10% of our annual budget. Sunday morning attendance average is 20 to 30 people. We believe there is potential for reaching many more souls for Christ in our small community.

Our current salary package includes expenses, housing and living provisions, along with a health insurance allowance, is in the area of $30,000. This amount represents 66 % of the annual budget. Our departing pastor and family have made a comfortable living in the community, owning and maintaining their own home. Compared to most areas of the state, the cost of living near Upper Sandusky is very reasonable.
