master of arts in LOCAL CHURCH MINISTRY
 

The Master of Arts in Local Church Ministry consists of 48 credit hours. Advanced Standing credit is possible for 6 hours.  The Master of Arts in Local Church Ministry can be completed either through distance education or on campus.  This is the section of the website describing the on campus program.  The program is designed to provide a solid foundation for those who interested in entering ministry in the local church setting in positions including associate pastor, small groups pastor, discipleship pastor, etc.  The seminary recommends those interested in becoming a senior pastor or who desire to have preaching as regular part of their ministry to obtain a Master of Divinity degree.

TH 521 History of Doctrine and the Church
