Grace Theological Seminary Adds News Feed to Their Web Site

Grace Theological Seminary has joined the world of blogging through the creation of a news feed service through their hosting partner Blogger. This service in conjunction with Feed For All will provide instant updates to Grace Seminary news and events and provide Grace Seminary employees with a greatly simplified method of posting updates.

Technospeak: Updates will be accomplished in a variety of ways including directly through Blogger, and also through a free tool from Microsoft called Windows Live Writer. These will also be provided through an email gateway. For those with a deeper interest in this technology, Grace Seminary chose Feed for All's rss2html.php publishing service through an XML parser which allows publication of dynamic XML news content to a static html page through a PHP script.

To subscribe to news updates from Grace Theological Seminary, just click on this news item and locate the XML icon on the lower right hand corner of the page. Or paste this one into your news reader: http://gts.grace.edu/blog/atom.xml . News readers are widely available such as Sharp Reader, through a free download. Outlook 2007 offers native support for reading news feeds. If you have questions about this technology, please contact Jim Hill.
