Dr. Plaster has served for twelve years in three different pastoral settings. He has taught college and seminary courses for approximately 19 years. He is also the author of two books and several journal articles.

1) What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of teaching and ministry?
Camping, gardening, & reading.
2) Who are the members of your immediate family?
Three grown children: Andrew, a social worker in Warsaw; Rachelle Creighton, married, mother of my first grandchild, works at DePuy; Robert, a missionary with GBIM working in student evangelism in Paris, France.
3) What is one of your most memorable experiences in ministry?
Starting a church plant in PA and bringing it to full self-support.
4) What was the topic of your Dmin, Th.D, or Ph.D dissertation?
The Theological Method of the Early Princetonians
5) What classes do you teach? Which is your favorite to teach?
- Systematic Theology I & II,
- Advanced Systematic Theology,
- History of Doctrine
- History of Christianty
My favorite is History of Doctrine where I can combine my love for history and theology into one class.
6) Outside the Bible, what are some of the most influential books in your life?
The writings of Francis Schaeffer.
7) What is your most recent area of research?
History of the Brethren movement.
